The hubbie pointed out that I haven't posted many pictures of Maggie. It's true. In my defense, Sadie is a spectacularly photogenic dog and Maggie's dark fur makes picture-taking for an amateur such as me somewhat difficult. She is gorgeous when Mom masters camera, lighting, etc. Here are a few of my faves over the years:

Baby Maggie (aka the Good Ol' Days when she didn't destroy EVERY toy) |

|
Adolescent Maggie - one of the first beach trips where she discovered her love of driftwood. |

Adult Maggie - Chasing Balls at the Beach is hard work! |
Hi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteJust hopped by to say hello! Wow, chasing balls on that beach does look hard!
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Our Xena had beautiful black, shiny fur and I can attest to the difficulty in photographing her. Hopefully, you'll still consider joining our Super Dog Sunday Photo Blog Hop. Here's more: http://www.allthingsdogblog.com/2011/01/why-join-in-super-dog-sunday-blog-hop.html
ReplyDeleteLooks like in all her phases so far, Maggie has kept something to chew on close by! Very cute photos!

I love her expression in that first photo.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for checking me out. I love blog hops!
ReplyDelete@ Chandra - I've found the only way to get Maggie to stop for long enough to take a decent picture is by making sure she has someone in her mouth to chew on. That or throwing balls for 2 hours to tucker her out. :)
Oops...someTHING in her mouth to chew on. Haha!
ReplyDeleteMost definnitely difficult to photograph black - and yet it's probably the most dramatic to see in person!
ReplyDeleteMom says that it is a pain in the patoot to photograph black dogs - and me and Felix are both black! Those pictures of Maggie on the rocks are GORGEOUS though :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, so, so cute!!! I love that innocent puppy look in the first photo. Precious!
