Ray is nearly obsessed with kale. He knows it by name and begs for it. I usually only have it in the house for a certain soup that I make but everyone I know is raving about kale chips so I made some for myself and I have to say, I understand the obsession now.
(Did you kind of get that my dog taught me to eat a vegetable?)
Hmmm, I don't buy kale very often because I'm afraid my husband and I couldn't eat it all before it goes bad. But if Honey likes it as much as Hurley, it might be worth while.
She surprised me by eating sour oranges lately. Maybe kale isn't too bitter after all.
I'm glad many of you are as baffled by the kale incident as myself. I mean, my dogs get a lot of fruits & veggies but have heretofore turned their noses up at anything of the leafy green variety. I'm now inspired to branch out a little bit. Mustard greens in Hurley's future???
Hilarious! My dog will not touch a vegetable. Wish she had Hurley's tastes for leafy greens!

One of my dogs loves broccoli. The others are insulted that it is in the universe. Go figure...
ReplyDeleteMy boys love veggies and fruit and I have never tried kale, buying it tonight! Love it!
ReplyDeleteSo funny! We're trying to eat more of it as humans. Though our pups have a real thing for apples...

Thanks for the idea, Hurley.
